As clarified in my previous blog post, my Food page comprises of my most favorable eats. Whether it is just a certain food or talking about a dining place, as long as it gives the happy tummy x happy memories collaboration, g! Yes, that is what I am going for in this section, not just a review per se. I might be eating these amazing food over and over, and visiting such restaurants and coffee shops lots and lots and lots of times, but! I do not usually repeat posting about what I had written already. If I featured it, then we good. All that matters is that I listed it as part of my favorites. Then, onto the next fave. However, due to some circumstances, I am making an exception for this one. Because this super Saturday, I had a memorable experience at this diner that Dada and I went to. It was that worth remembering! That is why I am posting about Kko Kko again. Yup, again! And actually, Kko Kko is one of the first ten posts here in my Food category. Uh-huh, that just shows that been loving it here for a while now 💖 The visit to Kko Kko, a Korean chicken and food place made available locally, was not exactly planned. The boyfriend and I were too hungry already that we were talking about where to eat once we arrived at the Taguig boundaries. I suggested Seattle's Best Coffee as we were redeeming our remaining points there. But then, he refused the idea. That was supposed to come after meals, he said. Then, this was for real huh, Dada suggested Kko Kko. He knows about this because we have been delivering takeouts from Kko Kko for months now. You know, whenever I am craving K-food, it is Kko Kko that is on my mind. And imagine how many times do I crave Korean food? Lol! Little do I, or we, know that the restaurant changed its concept to BTS, with some mix of Korean culture already! So the moment I opened the door? I was Jung shookt for seven seconds! Because I saw Kim Seokjin standing there. And when I moved my eyes, aAaHhhhh, my kings were all present! I was on leave for hours from the guys, but they would not let me. They are following me everywhere I go! And what was amusing, it was my man who led us here. Of course, ya Ela girl was genuinely happy because of this then! 💖 Following the COVID-19 protocols, as mandated by the slow responsive government of PH, Dada and I signed the contact tracing form first before heading to our table. I chose the one with the BTS view. Like duh? As it should! And as usual, the staff handed down the menu. Same old, Kko Kko still uses an iPad when browsing the food selection. Same same, as we ordered our constants -- yummy Beef Bibimbap to me, Spam Bibimbap to Dada, and Korean chicken for our side munches. Yet really though, big changes also happened. Like the television! Right, there is a TV already. And during our visit, it only played BTS music videos. There are displayed frames about the phenomenal artists' achievements as well. Also glass cabinets with official merch. And I already mentioned it before, the best additions, Bangtan’s standees! Super aliw because each table has this life-sized Korean icon image that joins when eating. Sksksk. While Kko Kko now fits as a BTS place, you can also meet Park Bo Gum, Goblin in the name of Gong Yoo, and Jennie here. Note that these stands do not just give off aliw factor to the customers, but these also serve as social distancing marks on which position to sit. Amazing, isn’t it! 💖 As I was taking my pictures before leaving the site, the manager came to me, and we small talked. My first visit here was with Dada where we tried their ever famous cheese fondue. Since then, been coming back here for that. Also, because of the hanging ball decorations as they are calming to look at. Of course, wanna eat at a fancy but inexpensive place, eh. While my last dine-in here in this Kko Kko branch was in December 2019 pa. I remember that me and my best friend Rov, together with her niece, availed the unlimited chicken promo. We did our catching up here because safe space. As said. So then, I told the Ma’am that there was a huge transformation here, so I was really amused coming back with this new concept. She said that it has been a while since they designed the place like this. I was not just able to come for two years, so I was clueless. Haha! But that is it. It just felt good that the manager made an effort to chat with me. Then, encouraged to snap all I want as we were just the people there anyway. Uh-huh, same old friendly staff. And accomodating to clients’ needs. Impressive! Some things have changed, but some did not. And I think, that is beautiful 💖 A BTS-concept store or not, the meals totally taste veeeeeeery good for both dine-in and takeout, so Ela Manila approved talaga Kko Kko! I told my fam and friends about this before, but I will say it again: Kko Kko’s Korean chicken is the top-tier for me. Why? Because the menu comes with affordable pricing without the suffering of taste. Aside from the popular fondue of the shop, Dada and I always order the Garlic Parmesan chicken. That is our go-to chix here. Fight me, but it is even better than *r*n*i*’* already! Not oily and seasoned so well. Deserving of five stars! As per this visit, I felt like trying something new, so we had Snow Cheese. No snow here in this tropical country, so Imma at least get these Snow Cheese this holidays season. I remember this all too well too because my bestie and I enjoyed all Kko Kko’s chicken flavors when we had the unli-chicken promo before. And it is true! Snow Cheese is a standout as well. It has the perfect combination of sweetness and saltiness. Only Kko Kko can pull a chicken like this. And mm mm, mm mm, these are just a few of the reasons why I could therefore conclude that Kko Kko has the best chicken in my world 💖 Love ko this Kko Kko experience! Like, as in! Love it, especially since it was an unexpected little adventure. Add the fact that it was Dada who chose to dine here. Genuinely happy to eat my fave comfort food while listening to my fave BTS songs and making chika with my most fave person of all! Tbh, Kko Kko has felt like home. So yes! Thanks to this visit, I got more reasons to stan this chicken place! Yup, me likey the new concept of the shop. But then again, I would reiterate that Kko Kko's food serves great, great, great justice with or without the global K-superstars’ appearances 💖 Kko Kko Various locations https://www.facebook.com/KkoKkoPH/
