Cakes are one of my guilty pleasures in this world! Cupcakes come second. Ice cream third. And so forth. I love cakes because they mean something more than the sweet icings and sugary toppers that melt in the mouth whenever I eat them. For me, they are a symbol of forever love and new beginnings. That is why, I look forward to this cute little thing whenever my birthday is coming. Such a suh-weet victory! :) This year, I had two cakes! Thank you to my Lola and Lolo who gave me a special cake from Goldilocks. It was a made-to-order, pink cutesy cake. And to tell you, it has cupcakes around it so the cake looked like a flower! The little cakes made it look like they are the petals. Best part, they were so yummerz, I kenat! The cake is perf for the sweet tooth. Be ready to feel the sugar rush especially with the cupcakes! While the other cake? They were from my fam. Kamsahamnida, Umma, Appa, Unnie! And of course, Estrel's, the bakeshop where they bought it. They put in extra effort for this floral cake because again, it was made to order. Mom discovered where to buy this cake I always see on TV so, that. While Papa and Sissy, they were the ones who picked it up from the store in Quezon City. Plot twist: grabe the traffic daw? Yup, the three of them were absent in their work today just to prepare for the celebration. Aww, right? Huhu, so much love! As for this classic cake, it's more fit for titas and older ones as the sweetness is balanced. It is the caramel cover that gives the taste for the chiffon. This cake is perf to make the umay from all the food on the table go away. I feel super touched because both cakes are beyond ordinary. I don't know too but they took my words seriously when I told them I would love to have these cakes on my birthday. Have the sweetest people in the world, aAaHhhHh!!!!! And I wanna mention my two besties who gave me cakes too. My first cake, as in I got it on the first day of my birth month, was from Rov. It is a yema cake, a pasalubong from their outing. While my late-st cake, got this November, was from Ivana. What she gave was a carrot cake that tastes like sans rival. Yum yum! And since I can't say anything more on this post, I just wanna say... Thank you, everyone! And of course, I love you all sooo much!!!!! *sending my signature hugs to each one yay* 💖
