'Twas a happy Tita Thursday with my high school best friends last twenty-seventh. This meetup was spontaneous as we usually are and we had no place where to eat in mind so, I suggested 8 Cuts Burger and Blends. It then flashed into my memory that was the birth date of the first person who has made my heart skip a beat; my forever love I would always keep even if I do not see him regularly and even though he can never reciprocate my feelings in a romantic way. Wow, umaasa pa 'te? Hahaha! Loving this guy named Robert Marion Eusebio Domingo very much, I remember most of the things he has said and done. Not sure, but I think Robi posted in his Instagram stories where he endorsed this food joint one or two times. I do not exactly remember but that... that was how me and my amigas ended here at 8 Cuts Burgers, Serendra, Bonifacio Global City branch. This dinner, however, was a celebration not just for my bibi's day, but of course, for me and my friendship with these gals too! *insert popping gold confetti here* 8 Cuts Burger Blends, more commonly known as 8 Cuts Burgers, is a genius concept from the most powerful The Moment Group of Restaurants that gives the people's fast food favorite: burgers, a major upgrade. 8 Cuts Burgers offers burgers that feature eight cuts of beef in hand-pressed and sear-ordered patties, with fresh vegetables placed in a homemade bun. Even if it has been in the food industry for quite a while already, it still continues the buzz all around the metro, proving how great this burger joint is. 8 Cuts Burgers has its own charm that engages people to enter the place. One attractive reason could be the big teddy bear in the entrance, perfect for picture-taking and! The warm welcome of the guys wearing black shirts who would hand you the menu immediately as you chose your seats. And can I just say how much I love the menu? It is like a magazine that is curated skillfully while being printed on a smooth paper. Add the ambiance, ah, so nice! On one side, you would see the vintage diner feels, reinvented into something much modern through the neon lights. On the other, just a typical hangout place where 8 Cuts intentionally did not paint the cemented walls to make the customers feel like you are just eating in a simple home. There is also a side where the seats look like in a nineties fast food joint with red and orange highlights. Yep, 8 Cuts Burgers represents old and new aesthetics -- so simple yet very cool. As for the food... The three of us had a cheeseburger and bottomless iced tea. Then, we added waffle cut and skinny fries, ready on the side because we know the night would be long. Haha. While we know that 8 Cuts Burgers is known for its do-it-yourself burgers, we ordered different than the usual since there are many reviews about how fulfilling those are anyway (and we already tried a customized burger in a different resto in Maginhawa a few years ago, plus and more so, we do not have enough budget haha lol hehe). Also, we wanna try the signature burgers. Because burgers and fries would always be my fave, and 8 Cuts Burgers just made me love it more! Slicing the patty, we really saw the juice oozing out. The fresh vegetables and signature sauce made me gesture the hand of the Italians when something I ate was delicious! Truly yummy! The quarter-pounder might look small at first glance but geez, it deceived us and made us go home with big and filled tummies! Add the crispy fries, both crisscut and skinny, on the side. These fried potatoes are different from the others because of the extra and starchy batter that makes it crunchy. Feel free to add some ketchup or whatever dip you want as these are just placed within your reach, found in the table. But you wanna know the surprise? 8 Cuts Burgers offered us free onion rings since we joked the staff about my upcoming birthday. Well, it is a fact, but gahd, we were shookt by that! And I am saying this, not because we had it free but 8 Cuts' onion rings are really, really, no joke good! Seasoned with sweet and salty taste, not just the plain flour, make their rings above from the rest. It is the best onion rings ever, I swear!!!!! And really, sincerely, with a grateful heart... Thank you, Serendra branch, for this birthday treat. *finger hearteu* 8 Cuts? It's a yes! Award-selling ground burgers, deep, meaningful conversations, and infinite, treasurable memories to spend with the beloveds! 💖 8 Cuts Burger Blends Various locations: https://www.zomato.com/manila/restaurants/8-cuts-burger-blends https://momentgroup.ph/index.html@p=768.html https://www.facebook.com/8cutsburgers/

I have always seen my Mama drinking her favorite coffee since I was a little girl. However, she banned me and my sister from this cup of joe because according to her, only adults are allowed to have it. At first, I did not understand why she said that, (so being a kid that I was, I just followed her, of course) but I do now. Not knowing the taste of coffee for twenty years of my existence, what do you expect? It would taste bitter for me! It gave me a bad impression, yet, I did not stop trying this drink because I wanted to see why people seem addicted to it. Adulting has hit me, so going to cafes every weekend and exploring various kinds of iced coffee flavors every time, I did not realize I already became a coffee lover and a loyal customer of Seattle's Best Coffee. From the name itself, Seattle's Best Coffee is an international coffee roaster and an established coffee retailer from the piers of Seattle in Washington. Having been in the industry for almost fifty years already, it has expanded all over the world, and yes, including the Philippines. Often abbreviated as SBC, it has also been dubbed as the second-highest coffee shop next to Starbucks Coffee. But... In a world full of Starbucks, I still choose Seattle's Best Coffee! Although they are now owned by the same company since 2003, there are still distinctions between SB and SBC that no matter what I do, I would recommend SBC more due to its unflustered ambiance with boozy music, delectable desserts, and an impressive menu that perfectly pair the mouthwatering but reasonably priced coffees. Aside from SBC being Dada and I's regular date place go-to and Javakulas as my instant mood boosters, it is the feels inside the cafe that attracts me. Entering the store, I can quickly recognize the smell of the coffee being brewed in the maker and the goodies being baked in the oven! Not seeing freelancers working like a zombie and students cramming their projects, exams, and assignments leave me at peace. Do not take this offensively, okay? I am just easily affected when I see people stressed out. Like as if, I also feel their struggle. And that is one reason I choose to chill here more. It has a laidback vibe for my soul that definitely cool down my nerves after a very long and tiring day. The yellow lights and coffee shop music also add relaxation. Thus, lift the state of mind. It was one Saturday from UP Town Center... And because I still do not want to go home just yet, I asked Dada (the boyfriend) and SB (Dada's good friend who has become my friend as well) if there is a Seattle's Best Coffee that we might pass along the way. To be honest, I know there is. Pasimpleng parinig lang that I want to drop by and that it would be on me, my treat, since birthday week was not yet done. With a great surprise, I discovered that there is an SBC interconnected to Kenny Roger's Roasters at Katipunan. As in, as one! This is the most unique SBC branch for me. After eating roasted chicken, one can order a good cup in just a few steps! Just woah, woah, woah, ya know?!? But of course, I love the BGC and Market! Market! branches as well :) Seattle's Best Coffee is my kind of joe because it has the combination of my faves -- coffee, ice cream, and milkshake that makes it the grandest ever! I really like my coffee cold when I want to calm down and warm when I am on a deadline. I let the caffeine decide my mood and squeeze the productivity inside my body in order to function. But whether it is hot, handmade classics; cool and refreshing beverages; non-coffee; or featured drinks, rest assured that SBC would serve the boldest, smoothest, and the best coffee beans for you! That is what they are made of. Its name, remember? The shop is living with it! And aside from the drinks, know that the food in its list are also yummers. From breakfast deals to sandwiches and pasta, your tummies would indeed be satisfyingly filled and well pleased. Additionals: With Dada's R&B card, we are more encouraged to hang out here and its sister companies like Kenny Rogers as mentioned a while ago. And oh, I got my 2018 planner from SBC too! The merch are so use- and helpful -- already excited about the look and freebies for the next year! :) Imagine dining in a cool bistro while sipping a cup of hot coffee or a tall iced frappe you have been craving for while spending some quality time with the person you love... Ahhh, so good! IDK too but, Seattle's Best cafe is like a hidden happy corner with the self and/or Dada, and its coffee is like that kilig thing that makes me acknowledge what a nice day could be 💖 Seattle's Best Coffee Philippines Various locations: http://seattlesbest.com.ph/our-cafes/ http://seattlesbest.com.ph/ https://www.facebook.com/seattlesbestcoffeephilippines/ |
