My lovely Mama loves dressing me up ever since I was a cute, little girl. Then eventually, on my own, I started being curious about fashion and styling during junior year in high school. Again, thanks to the influence of Tumblr! 'Cause really, this website was my dream board. I am actually grateful that I spent my free time browsing my dashboard because it inspired me with life. See my fashion, passion, and vision? Tumblr helped me with those! The person I am today has been lead by Tumblr-ing 💖 But you know, it was sooo hard to be on fashion back then. Although my Mama supports me with my kakikayan, she would not always buy me clothes, shoes, and bags, so every time I wanted a shirt or a blouse, I would get it from my allowance. We aren't rich (but we disciplined) and this is a real story, bro! Another reason would be my fellow classmates and friends. Since my group of people had not yet appreciated what to look and what to wear back then, I was shy and afraid to show off and express what I really wanna wear, who I really am. My HS memories are very different from the kids these days and I guess, that's the effect of social media. But! I would not trade my childhood and growing up years from anything. So happy I witnessed those striped sunnies, rainbow-colored caps, and Supra shoes during my generation. Kaway-kaway to my co-jejem0ns out there! j3j3j3 ^___^ Laughing so hard every time I see those funny pictures and remember those good'ol memories! But alongside those jeje fashion, little do people know that florals were budding during that time, too. I super remember that because I used to shoot my floral pieces with my sister's digital camera. I love flowers, so I was able to incorporate it with my things, even fashion and style. Floral prints were in demand before, so every time I see one like a dress, tee, bag, notebook, or anything, my heart melts. Until now naman, flowers and florals will always be my thing! From high school to college, to now that I am working, and taking another step in my life, I would not mind dressing up with florals -- forever! 💖 Another clothing ensemble that I got from Tumblr would be the cardigan. I am not Ela during college if I am not wearing a cardigan. My klasmeyts would prove that! This combination of florals and cardigan (floral top x cardigan, floral dress x cardigan, simple tee or plain dress x floral cardigan) would always be part of me. Plus, cannot forget my sneakerly love! Always into flats. If heels, wedge and gladiators, and not the pointed ones. Comfort over style all the time for this school girl! :)
