Dada and I have been attending UP Fair (University of the Philippines - Diliman's Fair) since 2017. I was not able to blog about our whole experience last year, but I tell you, those three days were sooo much fun! Especially that it was spent with my bestest friends, as well as with brand new friends. As for this year, the 11/11 couple just attended two days of the fair. Because sad truth: the lineup was not that nice this year. Another fact though: Dada and I still enjoyed nonetheless! Spent it with the legendary Pinoy bands and our favorite people, eh! Really looking forward to each year's UP Fair because it is already in my, in our February system! If you are interested in what happens at UP Fair, I made a blog about it, so feel free to check it here. :) Since UP Fair always happens every Valentine's week, this is where Dada and I celebrate our hearts day, too. Having been dating at a music festival, I had not dressed up formally for our v-dates. But! I always make sure that there are some romantic, girly touches in my looks -- just so to say I made an effort to be, and to still be beautiful on such special days 💖 This first outfit was worn during Valentine's eve eve. I decided to be a rockin' chic with a denim-on-denim style, but with soft curls! I also wore a black tube, so just in case it gets hot, I can unbutton my main top and breathe; same as when it gets cold, I can button my main top and tuck it in. I love this denim top because it is one-of-a-kind! It is not the usual, plain denim that people wear. This one has bohemian feels that amplifies femininity, rather than the casual ones that could be unisex. More so, this mom, high-waist, denim jeans have been with me since I was in college. I used to hate it because it is not slim-fit and makes me look fat. But yay, using this pair of pants more often now because I have accepted this kind of style already. Hashtag Nasa Nagdadala Yan ~ The second outfit was worn on Valentine's Day. For this peg, I opted to be a simple yet stylish baby girl. The puffy sleeves are on the trend, so I wore one. Wore the short-puffy-sleeved style instead of the long ones for more comfortable, breathable movements during the party time. I also like its color because it is soothing in the eyes and gives off pure-romantic-love feels that is just perfect for the day's agenda. I matched this top to another pink, through the sneakers. And for a lighter mood, to a slightly-acid-washed denim pants with floral embroidery and some ripped effects at some parts. I also brought a cozy cardigan with me for cold emergency fixes. Did not use it though, I have someone to hug when it gets cold anyway. Yieeeee! Char! Heheehe 💖 I tried to wear a dress-and-boots combo during UP Fair because of Valentine's week right; however, I was not that comfortable. I really think I was a cute, boho girl at that time because of Coachella feels and all... But to be honest, it is a no-no for me. I can't jump hard because I was conscious that my cycling shorts might be seen and Dada would probably be mad if others see that. I can't Indian sit properly because of the same reason, too. My thin boots also felt the rocks in the Sunken Garden, unlike when wearing rubber shoes. So! I told myself, when going to concerts like this, I must wear a pair of pants and sneakers! That I have to choose comfort and style! Not style over comfort! Why choose one when you can have both? :)
