Backreading posts here in my Fashion section, I realized that my posts for the past few months were dedicated to my favorites: Vanessa Hudgens, Gabriella Montez, and girl F᛫R᛫I᛫E᛫N᛫D᛫S casts. So, I decided to continue this fashion peg posts this month! :) These days, I have been attracted to the 1950s style fad. Coincidentally, this series I got addicted to: The Umbrella Academy, features Mom Grace who wears vintage fashion. And if you know me, I super-di-duper love the classics! *as in!!!!* Inspired by Mom, I wore a 1950s white, going-out dress just like Grace's. Yay or nay? The Umbrella Academy is an original Netflix series about a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes who hope to resolve the mystery of their Father, Reginald Hargreeves' death and the threat of an approaching apocalypse. To tell you honestly, I had no idea regarding this show. Not an MCR (My Chemical Romance) or Gerard Way fan either. However, my brother slash friend kept on talking about this. He even shared the clips to me, so I thought okay, must watch it. Good thing, I liked it! Excited for Season 2 already! Mom, named as Grace, is one of the most loved characters in the series aside from the main actors and actresses. This Barbie-like lady was created by RH to be the perfect housewife and perfect mother to the superchildren. She is computer-generated who is intended to take care of The Umbrella Academy. I can super relate to her on so many levels because I am that organized, that caring, an advocate, a peacemaker, too! But, apart from those, it is Mom's gracing style that got my attention. I mean... Look how polished, feminine, strong she looks like! Oh, really goals! 💖
