Having to generate a buzz since 2017, the mag-iina has been wanting to go to this Sunflower Maze in Pangasinan. So last July, after we had our new car blessed from Manaoag Church, we grabbed the chance to visit the place. The whole family, featuring the boyfriends drove all the way to Tayug to make such dreams come true. I was hyped because sunflowers naturally radiate positivity and I am a flower child so I was hoping to lift my spirits, just like them. Mama was that excited too and you can really feel that in her mood. My grandmother as well was enthusiastic since she has a green thumb and really loves plants! But guess what… It was closed. One friendly reminder for spontaneous trips: be sure to check the website or social media of the place first. Haha! Though the staff allowed us to enter the place and take pictures in the garden, of course, we still want to see the main attraction. For that reason, when the four of us (I missed my grannies and the guys by the way) vacationed in the province this Holy Week-end, we added in our plans to come back here for a realer experience. Together with our other relatives, the fam went to the most popular garden in the country right now and yasss, the waiting is over! :)
FEATURES My cousin went here last 2017 and she said that this year is way too different but in a good way. The Sunflower Maze features not only the yellow flowers’ labyrinth that everyone knows. It has a viewing deck to see the entire land in a 360-degree view now. Aside from the sunflower field, there is also a big garden composed of different ornamental plants that give the farm a more colorful, lively, and vibrant aura. Thus, additional picture-perfect shots! Well... The vegetable section that was displayed before is now gone. It is more on flowers this year. No fretting though because the management still sell these cute living things and even its seeds and other pasalubongs if you want to bring such back to your home. And if you feel starving, there are kiosks to indulge your hunger and quench your thirst. THINGS TO REMEMBER
A second chance is real, huh! And yeah, it is sweeter this time around. Lucky enough to visit the site in its blossoming season so, thanks, G! We witnessed a remarkable view of mother nature and it feels sooo good! :) Just to share, my favorite part was the bike photo booth. Not everyone saw this since I told ya, it is that big and tangly. My nieces even went back for that. Hashtag for the gram! Haha! SML for family bonding and environment-friendly place like this, yay 💖 |
