It is December! Did this thought sink in to you already? Yasssss, Christmas is just right around the corner! So... For my last Features post in 2020, my December entry for this freakin' year, I would share two shops that could help you enjoy this jolly season a little bit more! :) To be honest, I am not confident about giving presents. But I am good at receiving gifts. Lol, jk! I prefer asking my loved ones what they wanna receive every Christmas season, then I would just buy those for them. At least I know that my money served well because they are happy. And if they did not answer me, I just resort to the stuff that I think they might like. But the catch here is, I always go for the sale items around the mall. Haha! So now that I cannot do that -- because I am sakitin, so I opt not to go to places with many people as much as possible -- I prefer online shopping. Be it as Lazada, Shopee, or Instagram. And/or just give the fam some cash instead. But! If you are unlike me who put so much thought into gift-giving, I suggest Burnt. Available all-year-round, but very much perfect for the holiday szn, Burnt offers laser-crafted merchandise and personalized products with such excellent quality! I testify to the quality assurance of Burnt because I already got three earrings handmade with love from them. Dada had his coaster imprinted through this shop, too! Aside from these mentioned crafts, Burnt also produces bracelets, clocks, pens, even lamps, fridge boards, gate signages, and the like in accordance to your liking! You can visit their Facebook and Instagram pages for more info. And yes, yes, yes, the transactions are made online as well, so less hassle. Just slide them a message if you want some customized merchs for you and your loved ones. For sure, Burnt could help you turn those ideas into reality! Yeah, they are that good. I bet Burnt would satisfy your expectations and even exceed it! :) Another background chika because there are so many throwback Christmas stories I love! Heehee. So when I was a kid and like until senior high, my Mama would ask me to choose my Christmas party outfit on a certain budget. I miss those rushes, those days because my sister and I would really go around SM Makati, Glorietta, Landmark, even Market! Market! for one whole day just to canvass the clothes that I, we want. Then at the end of the day, would decide the final choice/s and tell that to Ma, so she could buy them. I believe this was how I developed my sense of fashion. Yeah, maybe why I love long sleeves, too! Plus! Helped me learn le bud-jeying skillz! Again, as much as I wanna do the actual shopping, I cannot do that, so online online muna for now. And if you are like me, looking for OOTD needs with a budget, I also discovered an IG shop that would be perfect for you! I know, I know, I know there are no Christmas parties this year. But hey, that is not a reason not to dress up! Dress up just because! Uso kaya yun! Haha. For fashionably unique grabs at a low price, go to Romantisce Vetements! Romantisce sells curated vintage wears -- from tops to skirts, dresses, pants, and blazers! Some of the clothes might be thrifted, but most of them are brand new. Like this intricate, crocheted polo and this gold-threaded, floral tulle skirt, they even have tags when I received the items. Affordable yet beautiful pieces of garbs plus hashtag support local businesses plus sustainable clothing, so you could save Mother Nature in thy own little way? What a wonderful gift for everybody, right! :) I stopped working last September 2019 to focus on my graduate studies. However, I did not push through the next semester, too. And it was only after nine months when I got a job again. I still see myself leaving this company because the field where I am right now does not align with my principles, but I am grateful because I started saving up again. I do not want to recall what happened to my ipon, but I am just so happy I have some for the rainy days again. And I feel good because I am giving my ambag at home now. I also give allowances to my folks at times. And I can maintain my needs and wants now! You can see that here, plus in my previous posts. Hello, this is my fifth post talking about my purchases. Feels great to spoil the self and the family after some time. And from time to time. Not really into material things, but in fairness, I missed this 💖 Because this year, I realized that money is just money. A house is just a house. A car is just a car. A gadget is just a gadget. Same as luxury bags or shoes or cosmetics are just bags, shoes, and cosmetics as well. Been stressing myself because of financial problems, but I discerned that material things do not last. It is the family, Dada, friends who are gonna. So now, I do not mind giving some to my parents, to Tito, to Lola. I do not mind getting Meralco or PLDT bills every month anymore. I do not mind investing in more insurance policies now. I do not limit my food cravings, self-care kits, and passion projects anymore as well because all these make me feel something. These stuff spark joy in me. These acts make me alive. And these are what life is all about, right? I am so glad because I am finally paying back all the goodness to others. Finally am giving what they deserve from me. And not just fam by blood, huh, but fam by heart! The saying is true that sharing really does lift one's soul. Kaya ka-proud lang this girl for taking things lighter now because she knows she would survive no matter what anyway. So keep it up, you! For You! And them! Hope you stay calm and ease your craziness pa and try not to live life too hard. To more balanced expenses and budgeted kinda life, let's go? G! Lezhgethizbwead! 💖
