I still remember the first time I met these people. Kinda intimidated because they are Dada's friends from UP, but first impressions do not actually last. This barkada created by the guys is super solid! And I thank God, I have them 💖 You know Facebook Memories? It reminded me that our friendship has been two years (and counting) already. That photo from December 17, 2017 which I saw made me remember that I blogged our The Alley experience before, too. So just like that, I am making another blog post with the tropa! We implicitly celebrated our friendsary at Talisay: The Garden Cafe in Maginhawa and at I Am Singer in Matalino. So, and be still... Happy two years, Lions & Friends! 💖 Bitin from last Friday night's bonding (umabot pa kami ng 2 AM nun ha!) care of Sir Leon, the tropa decided to meet again on a Wednesday and have our own year-ender party even if we are not complete. Supposedly a samgyupsal dinner and just the six of us, but Ma'am Emily (Sir Leon's best friend) treated us at Talisay Garden Cafe! K-BBQ turned fancy dinner, oh yeah! Super love the food, as in all of the meals we ordered are great! Then, TJ said it was Chef Tatung's restaurant. And oof, that's why! *bows down* Ayaw paawat, as usual, so we straightly headed to I Am A Singer Family KTV & Restaurant to have our Wednesday Walwal night! Kala mo, mga walang pasok bukas oh? Hahaha! We had a spacious room with two microphones, LED TV, and a freezing air-con! Qt how the hub also has buzzers that are very Korean-like! Haha. Aside from the karaoke experience, we had 2k worth of consumable food as well. We were still busog from dinner, but of course, we still ate! We had some calamares, cheese sticks, chicharong bulaklak, lumpiang shanghai (and I can't remember if that's all). This is also where someone made habol for the party. Buti nga umabot! Yup, we were not just six; we were actually seven tonight! It's just that, that guy who joined is two hours earlier from PH time zone. See TJ holding the phone? Haha! Kuya Ken, although a thousand miles away from us, stayed until 3 AM Aussie Time for this year's holiday party. Actually, I can't believe that we talked to Kuya Ken while using Shakey's Wi-Fi only. Gusto ko yung pinaglaban namin lahat para makausap lang siya eh, awwh #LDRstories Went home at 1 AM and slept with a happy heart. Really grateful for this barkada! Even if I am different from them -- different course, different field, different school -- I still feel welcomed and belonged and uplifted. They are the kinds of people that I would never wanna lose. And it really is true that, it is not with the length of time that shows how strong a friendship is. They are my proof! So... Thank you guys! To more happy memories and midnight trips! Ily'all! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Friday the 13th, what? I really do not believe it is unlucky! One of my childhood friends got married this day and they had a wonderful time! My Mama and Papa who are part of the secondary sponsors are my witnesses. And same with them, I also had a good Friday with my faves today! 💖 Cravings satisfied at Endless Summer, my favorite food nook at UP-D: University of the Philippines - Diliman! Super missed their buffalo wings and smoothies! Thank you for the treat, Love! <333 Cheers for the meet-up with my old friends, Ate Wens and Riczel! My heart felt so good as I talked with them, as if nothing changed! Met Ate Wens at UP. Then, we headed to CoCo at UP Town where she treated me milk tea. While Ate and I were catching up, this familiar face came up to me (Riczel was with her boyfriend and I finally met him, yay) and aAaHhHhh, the three of us bonded for a while! Despite the lack of sleep, 'cause I got up early to meet Wensileyn, I do not mind. I would not mind it as long as I am gonna spend my time with true people who could lift my souls up anyway! And the main event for this day: Lantern Parade 2019, with a theme of "Pumailanlang". I have not shared this before, but Dada and I have this as our annual December tradition. Since 2012, Dada and I have watched these beautiful lanterns created by the UPD Community, parading around this prestigious university. Whenever the day of Lantern Parade comes, I know that it is the holiday season already. More so, it means that the sem is finally over!!! *hugs to all the students! tap your shoulders for working smart and doing your best! padayon!* My Love and I always attend Lantern Parade at AS, the Palma Hall. Sometimes, with friends; sometimes, with family; sometimes, just us. This is the first time we watched the parade with a celebrity, Ms. Rica Peralejo. As in, she (and her cute babies, husband, other fam members) was just in front of us and we had small talks! This year is indeed memorable! Also, Ate Wens joined us as she and her workmates would attend Maskipaps: The Crossover, a music concert that also happens every after UP Lantern Parade. Until now, Dada and I haven't attended one Maskipaps yet. IRDKY2~ To be honest, Dada and I wanted to attend the after-party concert because we still have not seen how Kamikazee (one of the Filipino band icons) performs. However, Sir Leon (Dada's boss and mentor) threw a year-end party on the same date and at the same time. Of course, it would be his free dinner at Cravings (butterscotch is life!) that we chose. We could watch that band in some other way anyway. Missed the friends, too, eh! Had non-stop and random chikahans with the tropa that we even went to Sir Leon's house to continue the night. Haha! Happy Friday, indeed *thank you, G* |
