Museums are one of my heavens on earth. This is why I am thanking the universe because finally, Dada and I were able to go to the latest and said to be the most Instagrammable national museum in the Philippines, National Museum of Natural History already, yay! 💖 COMMON MUSEUM RULES AND REGULATIONS Upon entering every Philippine national museum, guests are asked to write their names in the registration sheet. If you are carrying a bag or something, you have to deposit those first at the baggage counter before roaming around. Since this is a sacred place, food and beverages are not allowed inside. And while taking pictures are allowed, know that taking photos with flash aren't. Shooting videos might be great for your online stories but know that it is a prohibited rule as well. GALLERIES, HALLS, EXHIBITS TO EXPECT
MUST-SEE FEATURES After feeding our minds -- and our camera galleries, I must say -- I chose three of my top attractions inside this museum. Of course, the most visible one, the reason why there are a lot of Gen Zs around, the Tree of Life. This is the dome and DNA-like structure at the center of the museum. It is a nice, minimalistic architecture that's indeed perfect for your feed goals. On the other note, my most favorite gallery would be the Marine Line Exhibit. It is not just full of information about our marine biodiversity, but there are lots of activities you can do here, too. It is the most interactive hall for me, maybe why I liked it the most. And! The very rare sight one should never miss: the Philippine's largest crocodile Lolong's skin and skeleton. His bones were preserved in the ceilings of the second floor's reception hall, so you can see his actual size. I feel honored to see such history in my eyes, aAahHhHh! Unlike the not-so-nice reviews I heard from my friends who went here last year, I liked this museum for real. I loved my experience here, not just because of its aesthetic architecture and royal design that are good for my Instagram feed, but because of the knowledge I gained inside. Well, I know that is the sense of what a museum is. However, compared to the other two National Museums: Anthropology and Fine Arts, Natural History has more interesting exhibits and interactional galleries which Dada and I really enjoyed! :) And since I already mentioned these museums, hopefully, we could revisit the other two + the Planetarium soon :) :) :) National Museum of Natural History Rizal Park (around the National Museum Complex) Entrance fee: Free Operating Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday
